Coimbatore, Sep 3 (PTI) The outlay for Tamil Nadu of Rs520 crore in the railways, has increased to about Rs 4,000crore during the last three years, Railway minister, SureshPrabhakar Prabhu said today. Speaking after inaugurating new passenger facilities at acost of over Rs 15 crore, at Coimbatore Junction Prabhurequested the state Government to join hands with IndianRailways for infrastructure development. The minister has agreed to consider a few representationsregarding stopping of trains from the city to Bengaluru, evenas assured to look into introducing the long pending demandfor a night train to Bengaluru. Prabhu inaugurated a slew of modern amenities such astwo AC Executive Lounges, AC Dormitory, Additional RetiringRooms and Waiting Room facilities. PTI NVMRC
