A speeding car allegedly triggered a three-vehicle accident inside an underpass on Golf Course Road in Gurugram, leaving three vehicles damaged, police said on Monday.
The incident took place near the Sector 42-27 intersection, the driver of a car was allegedly travelling at high speed and driving negligently when the vehicle rammed into two cars ahead of it.
The impact caused one of the cars to overturn, while another crashed into the underpass wall. The vehicle allegedly responsible for the collision also hit the wall, police said.
The incident came to light after a video of the crash surfaced on social media. The footage reportedly shows a speeding vehicle hitting two cars inside the underpass.
After taking note of the video, Head Constable Parmila and her team visited the spot, inspected the area and questioned witnesses to establish the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Police have registered an FIR against the unidentified driver at Sushant Lok police station.
