In the video, dated December 12, 2012, Mayawati’s complete statement reads: “The House is not functioning daily after midnight. You are the Chairman of the House. You leave every day at noon, and the House is not functioning. Who will make arrangements for it?” In response, Hamid Ansari stated that the question hour was ongoing and asked Mayawati to sit down. It’s worth noting that Mayawati did not mention namaz in her statement.
On February 4, 2024, the official Instagram account of the BSP posted a segment of this video featuring Mayawati. Subsequently, the video gained traction on social media platforms, leading to accusations against Hamid Ansari and Congress Party of being pro-Islam.
