A 30-second video of a group of injured men on a street being forced to sing the national anthem is doing the rounds on social media. Many users have shared the clip claiming that these are Muslim men from Rajasthan, who went to Kashmir for a vacation. The soldiers beat them up and made them sing the national anthem as a punishment for chanting anti-national slogans in the Union Territory.
A Facebook user posted the viral video with a caption: (English translation: Many Muslim boys from Rajasthan went to visit Kashmir. Reaching there, these people started shouting slogans _Pakistan Zindabad_ and _will not allow India to become a Hindu nation. Indian soldiers beat these slogans in such a way that their voice was shut down. In future, these rascals will think hundred times before shouting such slogans.)

FACT CHECK
When NewsMobile fact-checked the viral video, it was found to be misleading.
Through a Google Search with relevant keywords, we found various news articles — in February 2020 — stating that the incident (in the video) was during the CAA-NRC protests in the national capital. The incident was covered by many prominent media houses like NDTV, Inshorts, and The Week, to name a few. And one of the men in this group died after the brutal treatment by Delhi police.
By conducting a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, we also came across a tweet, dated February 25, 2020, by Shaheen Bagh Official (@Shaheenbaghoff1) condemning the heinous act by police.
When the protector turns perpetrator, where do we go?!
Shame on @DelhiPolice for disrespecting the value of human life. Is this how the Delhi Police fulfills its Constitutional duty to show respect to our National Anthem?

The tweet reads: “When the protector turns perpetrator, where do we go?! Shame on @DelhiPolice for disrespecting the value of human life. Is this how Delhi Police fulfil its constitutional duty to show respect to our national anthem? (Maujpur, 24 Feb) #ShameOnDelhiPolice #DelhiBurning” The tweeted clip matches exactly with the viral video, thus indicating that the latter is not recent or shot in Kashmir.
Another tweeted clip, dated February 29, 2020 — published by TOI Plus @TOIPlus, too, matches exactly with the viral keyframe. This proves that the video was, indeed, from Delhi and Delhi Police beat the men for supporting the CAA-NRC protest.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral video, claiming that a group of injured Muslim men from Rajasthan were beaten up and forcefully made to sing the national anthem in Kashmir by the soldiers for chanting anti-national slogans, is misleading.
