FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be false.

We can see the watermark stating @iqbal_hatboor on the video. Running a keyword search around the same, our team traced an Instagram profile by the same name. As per Instagram bio, the person is a business influencer, and social worker from Dubai, UAE.

His official Facebook profile also carries the viral clip posted as a reel on August 15, 2023. The caption states that he was ‘celebrating the 77th Indian Independence Day at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai to honour the occasion. He also expressed gratitude to the UAE and Dubai Police for their support in the event’.

The face of the influencer also does not match with the Prince of Dubai. Moreover, we could not find the viral video anywhere on any of the social media handles of the prince.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral video claiming Dubai Prince along with police celebrated the Independence Day of India at Burj Khalifa is false.
