Fact Check: Viral Tweet In the Name Of CISF Constable Kulwinder Kaur Is From A Phony Account

Recently, CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur allegedly slapped Kangana Ranaut, the newly elected MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, at the Chandigarh airport. Reports indicate that Kulwinder was upset with Kangana’s comments during the farmers’ movement. Kulwinder has been suspended, and an FIR has been filed against her.

Amid these events, a screenshot of a supposed post by Kulwinder Kaur has gone viral. The post reads: “I am not worried about the job, thousands of such jobs are sacrificed for the honour of a mother — Kulwinder Kaur.”

Here’s the link to the viral post. (Archive link)

NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim, and found it to be FALSE.

Many people reacting to the viral post mentioned that the account name was previously ‘@SatypalMalikG’. And, searching for the handle ‘@SatypalMalikG’ in the ‘People’ section of X, the NM team found the account ‘@Kul_winderKaur’.

Searching for the handle, @SatypalMalikG, in the ‘Top’ section of X, we found numerous posts tagging the ‘@Kul_winderKaur’ account. One individual has even referred to the account as ‘Mr Malik’.

We also searched on Google but could not find any credible media report corroborating the viral claim. Thus, it is evident from the above information that the viral tweet is fake and not posted by Kulwinder Kaur.
