Amar Singh Jaya Prada join RLD

Lucknow: Election time is defection time for Amar Singh. Singh along with Jaya Prada on Monday joined Ajit singh-led Rashtriya Lok Dal for the upcoming polls, after they were expelled by Samajwadi Party for indulging in anti-party activities and denting its socialist image. 

Amar Singh will contest from Fatehpur seat, while Jaya Prada will be fielded from Bijnor seat in Uttar Pradesh. Ajit Singh welcomed the duo into the RLD fold and said he would continue his alliance with UPA. “Development in UP is not possible without dividing it,” said Amar Singh talking at the event.

RLD will contest the 2014 General Elections along with Congress. The party will contest from eight seats – Baghpat, Kairana, Bijnor,Nagina, Amroha, Hathras, Mathura and Bulandshahr.
