Mansa: Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi visited the village of Mansa to meet with the family of Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moose Wala, on Tuesday.
Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by Punjab Congress Chief Amarinder Singh Warring and Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa. The visit came amid the arrest of a former Congress minister in Punjab over alleged charges of corruption.
Rahul Gandhi after the meeting the family tweeted that “It is difficult to describe the grief that the parents of Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala Ji are going through. It is our duty to give them justice, and we will do so. The law and order of the state have completely broken down. Maintaining peace and tranquility in Punjab is not a matter for the AAP government.”

The official Twitter handle of Congress said that “Tribute to the son of Punjab and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala ji by Rahul Gandhi ji. The history of Congress is full of sacrifices.
That’s why we understand the pain of losing loved ones.”
Another tweet by Congress mentioned, “We know the pain, we share the pain.” A number of politicians from different parties have paid visits to Mansa and met the father of the deceased singer. Union Home Minister Amit Shah too paid a visit and assured the family and offered his condolences.
