“By changing Mughalsarai station’s name to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, trains won’t start coming on time, they should rectify the mismanagement in railways. Changing of names won’t lead to development”, said Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar.

BJP party president Amit Shah, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath officially changed the name on Sunday.

On paper, Mughalsarai station got a new name after Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik gave his assent to the proposal in June.
