New Delhi: Haryana Police apprehended Monu Manesar, a cow vigilante, on Tuesday. A police official informed the media that they would transfer him to the Rajasthan Police.
In February, Monu Manesar, a member of the Bajrang Dal, faced charges of killing two Muslim men from Rajasthan.
Monu Manesar, also known as Mohit Yadav, is a cow vigilante and a member of the Bajrang Dal. Hailing from Manesar, located near Gurugram, he is one of the key accused in connection with the death of two Muslim men.
Nasir and Junaid, who lived in Ghatmeeka village within Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district, were allegedly kidnapped by cow vigilantes on February 15. Their bodies were discovered inside a burnt vehicle in Loharu, situated in Haryana’s Bhiwani district, the following day.
The Rajasthan Police filed a chargesheet, identifying Monu Manesar as one of the accused.
