DU student alleges threat with rape for taking stand against ABVP

Date:

Amid a major clash between the students of Ramjas College and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on February 22nd, Delhi University student, Gurmehar Kaur, stood against violence showcasing her support to the students of Ramjas college.

Kaur recently started a campaign against Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), alleged to have attacked the students of Ramjas during a planned march from the college on February 22nd to demand action vandalism by the RSS-backed group a day earlier. Kaur took her outrage on Facebook where she uploaded a picture of her holding a placard that read:

“I am a student from Delhi University. I am not afraid of ABVP. I am not alone. Every student of India is with me. #StudentsAgainstABVP.”
