BSF Jawan who complained about food is dismissed

Tej Bahadur Singh, a BSF (Border Security Force) Jawan who complained about the quality of food in Siachin and posted a video which got viral and raised many eyebrows has now been dismissed by BSF. The enquiry was set up post the video was uploaded on FB found him guilty on Wednesday. The Border Security Force Court dismissed him under the provision of the BSF Act and rule.
Tej Bahadur Singh was supported by his wife and they wanted CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) to investigate the matter.

“We demand an inquiry to be conducted by CBI and not by BSF, as the investigation was done by the BSF would be biased and they will try to save themselves. We are not able to connect with him (Tej Bahadur Yadav) for the past two days,” his wife, Sharmila said
Earlier the home ministry discarded the allegations made by Tej Bahadur, saying that there is no substance found on his complaint about poor ration been served along the borders.

The Home Ministry informed PMO that there is no shortage or widespread of discontent in the constabulary over food according to the reports.
