Google ‘Hire’ will not leak your browsing history

Google Hire was in the news because some of the prominent media houses claimed that it will leak the personal information and browsing history to the employers. This claim is discarded by the Google and they strongly oppose such allegations.
Google Hire is a platform which will compete with Linked in and it aims to connect employer with employees. It is all set to launch in coming months.

Various daily’s reported that registering with Google hire will potentially provide all the browsing history and even YouTube history with the employers.
A Google spokesperson told, “Only information that a candidate voluntarily provides would be passed to a prospective employer as part of their online application. Private information will not be shared.”
“Google does not share private information such as search or viewing history. Only the information that applicants input into Google Hire will be shared—for example, first name, last name, email address, resume, cover letter, etc.” he further added.
