In a bid to ensure public mobility in the state with efficient, sustainable, affordable and properly coordinated road transport service, the Nongthombam Biren Singh government on Friday decided to start the Manipur State Transport (MST) service soon.
At a cabinet meeting chaired by the CM at his office secretariat, it was decided that modalities will be worked out to start a bus service within the next one month. The MST will be operated by the state transport department in the initial phase, said a statement issued by the chief minster’s secretariat.
