Mumbai, Feb 5: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly stopped endorsing the soft drink Pepsi. The star also compared the soft drink with ‘poison’.
“I used to endorse Pepsi earlier but once I went to open a girls school in Jaipur and in one such gathering similar to this one, one of the girls stood up to ask me why I am endorsing Pepsi as it contains many negative products. I felt if this is the impression I am giving to a possible buyer then it should not be so, and so I stopped endorsing Pepsi,” said the Big B addressing students at IIM-A.
Big B had been the brand ambassador for eight years from 2002.
