Mumbai: Within 10 days after INS Sindhuratna caught fire, another Naval ship, INS Kolkata, about to be commissioned at the Mazagaon dock, caught fire on Friday, claiming the life of a commander. Â
“There was a malfunction in the ship’s carbon dioxide unit, leading to a gas leakage,†said an official press release. The warship is one of the most advanced vessels made in India and is fitted with state of the art weaponry and sensors.
