Washington: A Google executive has reportedly said Google engineers have never copied Apple’s iPhonefeatures for use in Android. The executive made the statement during testimony in the Apple vs. Samsung patent-infringement trial.
Hiroshi Lockheimer, Google vice president of Android, walked the jury through early development of Android and said engineers actually tried to make software that was very different from Apple’s iOS mobile operating system , Cnet reported.
Lockheimer was the first witness Samsung called in its defense against Apple.
