German industrial production bounced back in September, following a sharp drop the previous month, data showed on Friday.
According to regular data compiled by the economy ministry, industrial output rose by 1.4 percent in September, after contracting by 3.1 percent in August.
Manufacturing output increased by 1.7 percent and energy output was up by 2.4 percent while construction output declined by 1.2 percent, the ministry calculated.
