New Delhi: Be it Indian Premier League, the controversy at Wankhede or AbRam taking all the limelight, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has been in the news all the time. Here is one more feather to his cap that makes him the King of Bollywood.
King Khan has recently received the Global Icon of The Year award. The event was hosted by a leading news channel.
SRK said he was deeply honoured to have received the award and happy that the kind of films he does has an international audience.
SRK also talked about his son AbRam who hogged the limelight at the IPL. It was his younger son’s first appearance in public, in front of thousands of onlookers at the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders.
SRK said AbRam was very excited as he witnessed the stadium.
“These youngsters come for 2-4 days and become famous than me. AbRam is also one of them. Now, how do I boast about my child myself,†he said
Last year, the Global Icon of the Year was awarded to Amitabh Bachchan.
