Pam Anderson fans who were heartbroken when she got married to Rick Salomon have a news that’ll work like a balm. Anderson and husband Salomon are officially divorced and have apologised for “any hurt and embarrassment” they caused their families. That, however, doesn’t mean that she’s fine.
She says that she is ‘still devastated’ over her split from Salomon, even though she has cut off all contact with him post their split.
The 47-year-old ‘Baywatch’ actress and entrepreneur, who filed court documents seeking to end their marriage for the second time in February, insist they wish each other well.
In a joint statement, the on-and-off said: “Public divorces can be harsh and cruel – we apologise to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused. We have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on.â€
In retrospect to any uncalled-for comments that both of them might have made, the statement said, “There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well.”
During the ugly spat, hues of domestic violence had also surfaced. Anderson, mother of two — sons Brandon, 18, and Dylan, 17, with ex-husband Tommy Lee — secured a temporary restraining order against Rick last month after claiming he “engaged in repeated acts of harassment and abuse” that caused her “severe emotional distress.”
Commenting on Rick’s behavioral issues, she said, “He’s acting very erratically which makes me very concerned. I’m concerned about the safety of my kids and their emotional safety too, apart from being worried about myself. He has been harassing them, he has been sending nude pictures to my driver that I didn’t know he had, that he taken of me without my knowledge. And he is using that to blackmail me.”
Pamela and Rick first tied the knot in 2007 but had their marriage annulled two months later.
The pair then rekindled their relationship and remarried in 2014, with Pamela filing for divorce six months later before asking the judge to dismiss her petition.
