New Delhi: After regular ceasefire violations by Pakistan, the Indian government finally broke its silence.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday issued a unsympathetic warning to Pakistan exclaiming India will give a “befitting reply†in case of ceasefire violation.
Two Border Security Force (BSF) jawans had lost their lives in the ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC) since a week.
Defence Secretary G Mohan Kumar also visited the Badamibagh Headquarters of the Army and was briefed by General-officer-Commanding (GoC) of Army’s 15 Corps, Lt Gen Subrata Saha.
After taking stock of situation, Kumar then called on Governor NN Vohra at the Raj Bhavan.
While one jawan was killed in the ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops on July 5, another died in a similar incident in same sector on July 9.
