US Vice Prez Biden finds his mystery relatives in Mumbai

Date:

Washington: United State’s Vice President Joe Biden now appears to have resolved the mystery behind his distant relatives living in Mumbai, India.

The Vice president received a letter from someone by the last name of Biden from Mumbai, decades ago when he became a US Senator. He has now found out that his “great, great, great, great, great grandfather” by the name of George Biden had worked in East India Company as a Captain.

After retirement, Biden said George Biden decided to settle in India and married an Indian woman.

Two years ago, when Biden travelled to Mumbai on his maiden vice presidential trip to India, he spoke about this letter that he received when he became the Senator for the first time several decades ago.

“There are five Bidens in Mumbai, India,” the Vice President also told a Washington audience at an event organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry and Carnegie Endowment for International Peace on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of India-US civil nuclear deal.

The Vice president has arranged all the details, including the phone numbers of all the five Biden’s in Mumbai. Soon he is going to call them.
