Four Indian nationals kidnapped by IS extremists in Libya: MEA

New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Vikas Swarup on Friday informed that four Indian nationals have been kidnapped by the IS extremists in Libya’s Sirte.

The four Indians were teaching in Libya and were abducted in Sirte. The ministry of external affairs is trying to find out more information about the kidnapped Indian teachers.

The Indian nationals were kidnapped from an area which is under the control of the ISIS. The government had last year issued advisory asking Indian citizens to leave conflict-hit Libya.
