8 killed in cylinder explosion in Kurla, Mumbai

Mumbai: At least eight people were killed when a gas cylinder reportedly exploded at a hotel in Kurla, Mumbai. Several others were reportedly injured in the explosion.

According to reports, among those killed were mostly hotel staffers.

The cylinder blast led to a fire at the hotel and the efforts were on to bring the blaze under control.

The Kurla police investigating if an LPG cylinder in the hotel kitchen caused the fire or a short ciruit.
