3 children die due to dengue

Mathura: Three children, aged eight, nine and a five-month-old baby, died due to dengue at Kondhara village in the district.

“While 8-year-old Astha and 9-year-old Bhavana died yesterday, 5-month-old Ashu died on Sunday. Over a dozen persons are in the grip of the fever in Kondhara village,” village Pradhan Ashok Chaudhary said.

Taking stock of the situation, the District Magistrate has ordered the CMO to rush the team of doctors to the village.

“Not only slides of the people down with fever would be prepared and spray of Larvisidal would be made in the village but those suffering from fever would be provided best possible treatment. If the need be doctors would camp in the village”, DM Rajesh Kumar said.
