Donald Trump deleted a tweet blasting Hillary Clinton on Saturday after social media erupted over the inclusion of a six-point star, which critics said could be seen as an anti-Semitic use of the “Star of David”.
According to the report, the tweet featured a faux news magazine cover showing a drawing of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee against a backdrop of hundred-dollar bills. On the right, in a red, six-pointed star, were the words, “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!”
At the bottom was a reference to a Fox News poll that purportedly found 58% of respondents believe Clinton is “corrupt.”
Trump’s new anti-Hillary ad is a pile of money overlaid with her face & a star of David. Wonder what the message is? pic.twitter.com/o01wlqPyRX

The report also says that, the original tweet was posted on @realDonaldTrump — the confirmed account of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee — at 9:37 a.m. ET, and stayed up for more than two hours before it was deleted. Trump later posted a similar tweet featuring a circle instead of a star. But the backlash on Twitter was immediate.
Some of the eminent tweets are:
A Star of David, a pile of cash, and suggestions of corruption. Donald Trump again plays to the white supremacists. https://t.co/sEvSs6zX8P

For all the people saying “It’s not a Star of David,” why then did Trump tweet it again after replacing it with a circle?

What’s with the Star of David? Is the GOP nominee now sending some kind of dog whistle? https://t.co/jNc2YQ1MDm

Trump has also previously re tweeted tweets from apparent neo-Nazi supporters, including one from the account “@WhiteGenocideTM,” which also tweeted numerous quotes from Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.

Earlier this year he re tweeted a post insulting Iowans , he apologized and blamed an intern for the mistake. This Clinton item was not a re-tweet but appeared to be created and posted by the Trump team.
