To support indian Handloom Industry, Minister of Textiles, Smriti Irani has started the new hashtag #IWearHandloom. She started it by posting a photograph of her in Handwoven Silk from Bihar. India is a home to many traditional hand loom styles, they have been taken up in fashion trends, but the weavers have not be credited sufficiently.
