This Friday is going to be a big weekend for films. 2 highly anticipated movies- ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and ‘Rustom’ are going to be hitting the theatres.
While both films have a strong backbone in terms of themes and storylines, many people are already speculating as to which film will do better on the box-office.
Hritik Roshan starrer Mohenjo Daro is the first film to be cinematically manifesting the Indus Valley Civilisation. Also, it is Hritik’s first film in the past 2 years, no wonder it has many fans excited to line up for it. The beautiful Pooja Hegde is playing Hritik’s love interest in the film. While she has appeared in a few South Indian films, Mohenjo Daro is due to become Pooja’s Bollywood debut. In the film, Hritik plays a traveller, who falls in love with Pooja’s character, but ends up getting tangled in the political drama of the foreign city.
From the looks of the trailer, the Ashutosh Gowariker directed historic epic looks pretty exotic and quite “hatke”.

The opponent in the ring, Rustom, stars Akshay Kumar in an intense role of a Naval officer who kills his wife’s lover in a fit of rage or could it be a well thought over murder?
The film is set in the year 1959, and is based on true events, when a naval commander, named K. M. Nanavati, committed the murder, with a much surprising outcome in the court. The case became a national sensation at its time, and the cast of Rustom hope for the same for their film. The lovely Ileana D’Cruz plays Akshay’s wife in the movie.
