XLRI earns accreditation for management, doctoral programmes

Jamshedpur, Aug 16 (PTI) Premier business school XLRI -Xavier School of Management has earned accreditation by theAssociation to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSBInternational) for its flagship management and doctoralprogrammes. This is the second coveted international accreditationfor XLRI after the one by Association of MBAs (AMBA), whichthe institution received in 2015, an XLRI release said heretoday. XLRI has joined a select group of global business schoolswhich have received AACSB accreditation for their doctoralprogrammes. Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the longestserving global accrediting body for business schools thatoffer undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees inbusiness and accounting. "It takes a great deal of self-evaluation anddetermination to earn the AACSB Accreditation and I commendXLRI Jamshedpur for its dedication to management education, aswell as its leadership in the community," said Robert D. Reid,Executive Vice President and Chief Accreditation Officer ofAACSB International.
