17-yr-old school girl commits suicide

Phagwara, Aug 17 (PTI) A 17-year-old school girl allegedlycommitted suicide by jumping in front of a speeding train nearhere, police said today. The girl identified as Parminder Kaur of nearby Lakhpurvillage ended her life by jumping before Amritsar-ChandigarhDuronto Express train near Mauli railway crossing betweenPhagwara and Ludhiana rail section yesterday, said Localrailway GRP Post in-charge Gurbhej Singh.
