Two killed, 10 hurt in jeep accident

Khandwa (MP), Aug 18 (PTI) At least two women were killedand 10 others, including two children, were injured today whentheir jeep collided with a tree on Icchapur-Indore road about40 kms from here, police said. The victims were on their way to Burhanpur from Ratlamon a religious trip when the mishap took place, Additional SP,Gopal Khandel said. One of the women died on the spot while the othersuccumbed to her injuries in the hospital, police said. The deceased women were identified as ShririnTandawala (35) and Rasheeda Kinoriwala, Khandel said. Among the 10 injured, eight are women and two children.All were rushed to a hospital for treatment. The driver of the jeep was also injured in the mishap,he said, adding that further investigations are on. PTI CORMAS DKMRJRDS
