Woman booked for storing illicit liquor in Reasi

Jammu, Aug 19 (PTI) A woman has been booked after over 100litres of illicit liquor was recovered from her house inJammu’s Reasi district, police said today. On a tip off, a team of police personnel conducted a raidon the house of Jasveer Kour at village Kheralaid in Reasidistrict and recovered 104 litres of illicit liquor and around10 litres Lahan (an ingredient for making country liquor), apolice officer said. The accused woman managed to escape and efforts are on tonab her, he said, adding that the recovered liquor was seizedand Lahan destroyed on the spot.
