"Last year we grew at 10 per cent and we hoping to comeclose to that this year," the TTK Prestige MD said. Generally, the third quarter contributes around 30-32 percent of the total turnover for the company, Kalro informed. On GST, he said, it is going to be very good for the firm,provided the rates are not too high. GST would mean muchbetter compliances to taxes and that helps branded players. TTK Prestige, which acquired UK-based Horwood Homewareearlier this year, is looking at developing the export market. The company exports to around 25-30 countries includingUS, Canada, Mexico, Germany, UK, France, Spain, Japan,Singapore, Sri Lanka among others. "We are looking at aggressively developing the exportmarket for us. We are looking at expanding the footprint ofthe company that we have acquired. Currently exports are under5 per cent of our turnover," Kalro said. "We are trying to broadbase the exports to value addedproducts and getting the right kind of market and customersthere and developing products for them. Now that we have abrand outside the country, we will use those brands as well,wherever we can," he added. The company, which roughly spends 1-1.5 per cent of itsturnover on product development, is not actively pursuing anyacquisition opportunities at present. "We are not actively looking at any acquisitions rightnow but if they come up and sound good, we will definitely gofor them," he said. The company spends around 6.5 per cent of its turnoveron advertising and Kalro said digital will start taking moreshare of the ad mix.
