In India, most of the population know about the famous comedy character MungeriLal who used to overcome all his problems by day dreaming. The same role has been played by Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif who on his recent appearing to the people of POK on the occasion of his party Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s win said: “We are waiting for the day when Kashmir become part of India”. As he basks in the glory of his accomplishments, his counter part Mr Narendra Modi wakes him up to ruin dream by raising the issue of POK,Gilgit-Baltistan from the rampant of Red fort.
Pakistan always accused India of violating the human rights of Kashmiri people but what about the human rights of POK people?
The people of POK want to free from Pakistan due to countless reasons.They are deprived of their basic rights since the day their ancestors decided to join Pakistan.Their elections were also marred by allegations of widespread rigging,less investment in the educational sector by government, infrastructure is pathetic and development rate is zero.While Indian Kashmir is far more developed than this.Even their Newspaper Pakistan Daily slammed sharif’s statement that it will invite ” more trouble” for the country as well as Kashmiri people and called it as “wishful thinking”.
” It has become a norm for politicians to make unrealistic claims and repeat popular phrases for getting votes, ” said editor of Pakistan Daily on referring to Sharif’s statement.
His teammates Sartaz Aziz and Abdul Basit also joined the “league of daydreamers” by giving awful statements against India.
I think they believe on saying “A dream you dream alone is only a dream.A dream you dream together is reality”
Yea, it is true that ” dreams are no one’s monopoly” but they shouldn’t forget the day when Indian Army once acquired the Pakistan territory but the US and the Soviet Union used significant diplomatic tools to prevent any further escalation in the conflict between two South Asian Nations.
