Money laundering firm owner arrested

Balasore (Odisha) Aug 24 (PTI) The Police todayarrested the proprietor of a money laundering firm based oncomplaints made by some some investors and forwarded him to alocal court. According to Balasore town police, a man identified asJagdish Mishra was arrested and forwarded to a local courtafter two women lodged a formal complaint against him. They had deposited money with ‘Raj Godson’, thealleged money laundering firm. The women said in the complaint that though theirdeposits matured, they did not get back their money and werealso promised high returns on their deposits. Based on the preliminary investigation, the Policesaid the firm was involved in money laundering and real estatebusiness and after getting complaints from some investors, theconducted a raid at the firm’s office.
