Mumbai, Aug 24 (PTI) Sajid Khan has expressed his desireto take the 2007 hit comedy "Hey Babby" forward and write asequel. The filmmaker announced his plans today on the ninthanniversary of "Hey Babby", which starred Akshay Kumar,Riteish Deshmukh, Vidya Balan and Fardeen Khan. "Thank you friends for all the love and good wishes#9YearsOfHeyyBabyy looks like I’ll have to start writing thesequel," Sajid, 45, tweeted. The filmmaker said when the movie released it was pannedby critics but he is happy that it has got a great recallvalue. "9 years! Feel humbled when people today tell me how muchthey love it.. But at that time it had got very bad reviews,"he wrote. In another post, Sajid thanked the film’s producer SajidNadiadwala for giving him an opportunity to start his careerwith the film. "Thanks bhai (brother).. My bro Sajid Nadiadwala.. Hebacked my vision and launched me. #9YearsOfHeyyBabyy," hewrote.
