Date:

Mercedes-Benz USA is shuffling some senior managers to new jobs, the company said Wednesday.

Bart Herring becomes general manager of sales operations, overseeing the development and implementation of all policies, programs and activities in support of new-vehicle sales and objectives. Herring also will head up sales volume planning. He reports to Adam Chamberlain, who became Mercedes-Benz USA vice president of sales in April.

Herring had been general manager of product management. He was named an Automotive News Rising Star in 2015. His replacement in the product role was not named.
