Industrial oils gain on good demand

Mumbai, Aug 29 (PTI) Castorseeds bold and castoroilcommercial gained further at the Vashi oils and oilseedswholesale market here today following good demand from soapsand shippers industries. Meanwhile, refined palmolein eased owing to subdueddemand from retail buying. While, groundnut oil and linseed oil held stable inabsence of any large-scale buying activity. In the non-edible section, castorseed bold moved up byRs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 3,655 from last Saturday’s close Rs 3,650and castoroil commercial inched up by a Re per 10 kg to Rs761. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,125 per 10 kg. Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein softenedby Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 623 from last weekends Rs 625 andgroundnut oil unaltered at Rs 1,400 per 10 kg. PTI BPD SBTMR
