Delhi govt calls one-day special Assembly session on Sept 9

New Delhi, Sep 1 (PTI) The AAP government has called aone-day special session of Delhi Assembly on September 9 overa number of issues concerning the national capital. The decision was taken today at a Cabinet meeting chairedby Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. "The Cabinet has decided to convene a one-day SpecialSession of Delhi Assembly on September 9 to discuss a range ofissues including governance in the national capital," a seniorgovernment official said. Last month, the Kejriwal-led government had also called afour-day session during which the Assembly ratified Goods andService Tax (GST) Constitution Amendment Bill, becoming thethird non-BJP-ruled state to do so.
