Citing that the opportunity is tremendous because of thekind of services that are going to come up, he said, "Todaythe world is looking at providing more than 900 satellitesconstellation in a couple of years to provide internetservice." He also said the opportunities exist in deep space likeexploiting asteroid mining or mining in the outer planet. Antrix chairman and managing director S Rakesh said theglobal space market was USD 330 billion in 2015 and nearly75 per cent of that was the satellites segment.
