Three, including infant, die in mishap

Coimbatore, Sept 2 (PTI) Two women and an one and halfyear old baby girl today died and seven others injured whenthe car in which they were travelling rammed a roadside treenear Kurichi in the city today. While 65-year-old Muniammal and her grand daughterTanishka, died on the spot, 60-year-old Lakshmi died on way tohospital, where the injured have been admitted, police said. Police said the car driver lost control of the vehicleand dashed against the tree and then rammed the wall of ahouse near Aathupalam, in the early hours. The occupants of the car were returning to Thudiyalur onthe outskirts, from Pollachi, they said. PTI NVMBN
