Minor girl threatened of acid attack by stalker

New Delhi, Sep 4 (PTI) A 16-year-old girl in northwestDelhi’s Jahangipuri has alleged that her neighbour hasthreatened to throw acid on her after she "rejected" hisadvances, police said today. The class XI student was stalked by the man, whohas been staying in the vicinity of her residence for sometime now, a senior police official said. An FIR has been lodged at Jahangirpuri police stationbased on the complaint by the girl’s parents, he said. The man accosted and threatened her with an acid attackwhile she was returning home from school yesterday. The girlthen informed her parents about the incident who approachedthe police. The girl had filed a case against him earlier also but theaccused got bail and starting stalking and threatening heragain, he said.
