Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar today had a video conferencing with students from rural areas of Rajasthan s Churu and gave answers to their question.
Majority of questions revolved around present education system and future of youth during the video conferencing through which the minister also inaugurated a carrier counselling project of an NGO.
Replying to a question on ‘No retention policy’, the minister said that he will be writing to all Chief ministers and hold a conference to elicit their views.
Based on their views, an appropriate decision will be taken.
Noting that there are a large number vacancies of teachers in schools across the country, the minister said the Centre will ask the state government to speed-up the recruitment process.
