Cops announce Rs 50000 reward for information on riots accused

Muzaffarnagar (UP), Sep 17 (PTI) Police have announced areward of Rs 50,000 for information on the whereabout ofabsconding gangster Harender, an accused in the Muzaffarnagarriots case. Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar said Rs50,000 would be given to anyone providing information leadingto his arrest. Harender, a resident of Mohdpur Raisingh village in thedistrict, is wanted in 11 cases of murder and loot. He hasbeen absconding since the 2013 riots in which over 60 peoplewere killed.
