Two years back on September 24, India has sent its Mars orbiter Mission. The complete indigenous mission, was praised across the world. for its low cost and accuracy.
It also made India, the first country to put a spacecraft in the Mars orbit in its first attempt. The spacecraft was designed for six months, but it is working till date! Indian marksmanship.
On Saturday, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) announced, “The Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) completed two years around Mars on September 24, 2016, and had accomplished its planned mission objectives. MOM and all its scientific payloads are in good health, and it continues to provide valuable data on the Mars surface and its atmosphere.”
