Pune Metro gets PMO nod, to be tabled before Cabinet on Wednesday

After receiving the necessary NoD from Union Finance Ministry and the Urban Development Ministry, the much-awaited Pune Metro Rail Project on Tuesday received approval from the Prime Minister’s office (PMO), local MP and BJP leader Anil Shirole said.

Shirole, Lok Sabha member from Pune, said the proposal will be tabled before the Union Cabinet for final approval on Wednesday.

“Today, PMO has given its go ahead to the project and the proposal will be tabled before the cabinet on Wednesday for final clearance,” he said.
