AirAsia India to start new services from Bengaluru to Goa and Pune

Low-cost airline AirAsia India on Wednesday said it will increase connectivity to Goa and Pune from Bengaluru with the addition of new services to the two destinations from this month.

AirAsia India would operate an additional flight connecting India’s Silicon Valley (Bengaluru) to Goa and Pune starting December 18, the airline said in a release.

It currently operates one daily service between Bengaluru and Pune.

Besides, AirAsia India will also operate its fourth daily connection between Bengaluru and Goa, starting December 18, the release said.

“Our flights from Bengaluru to Pune are doing extremely well, so are our three existing connections to Goa. We see immense demand in this sector. We are confident that this new connection is going to be well received by our guests,” AirAsia India CEO & MD, Amar Abrol said.

The Bengaluru-based budget carrier currently flies to 11 destinations with its two hubs in Bengaluru and New Delhi covering Chandigarh, Jaipur, Guwahati, Imphal, Pune, Goa, Vizag, Kochi and Hyderabad.
