Shahid Kapoor starrer “Udta Punjab” has topped the nominations list at the 62nd Filmfare Awards with nine nods, including best film and best director for Abhishek Chaubey.
The other nominations for the film are — best actor (Shahid Kapoor), best actress (Alia Bhatt), best supporting actor (Diljit Dosanjh), best supporting actress (Kareena Kapoor Khan), best music (Amit Trivedi), best lyrics (late Shiv Kumar Batalvi Ikk kudi) and best singer female (Kanika Kapoor – ‘Da da dasse‘).
