Donald Trump’s chief strategist appears to have had his political plans inadvertently exposed in a Twitter selfie.
Rabbi Shmuley Boteach posted a series of photographs to Twitter during his visit with Steve Bannon at the White House on Israeli Independence Day yesterday.
Legible writing on the board includes:
“Pledges on Immigration”
– Suspend the Syrian Refugee Program (which was ticked off)
– Implement new extreme immigration techniques
– Create support program for victims of illegal immigration
– Hire 5,000 Border Patrol agents (ticked off)
– Restore the secure communities program (ticked off)
Another list is titled “Pledges on Obamacare”, but details of that plan are illegible.

Bannon’s position within the Trump administration has under scrutiny recently, with reports of a broken relationship between him and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who is a senior adviser to the president.
The rumours of discord in the White House were fuelled when on April 6 Trump announced that Bannon had been removed from the National Security Council.
Bannon’s addition to the NSC at the time of the president’s inauguration sparked criticism that it was inappropriate for the political adviser to play a role in national security matters.
At the time one of Trump’s officials said Bannon’s removal from the NSC was not a reflection of any change in his standing as one of the president’s closest advisers.
