Delhi University’s 10-day ‘Open Day’ counselling sessions begin

University of Delhi’s ten-day ‘Open Day’ counselling session began today with around 600 students visiting North Campus to resolve their queries.

Queries from students have ranged from functioning of online portals, available courses at the university, and eligibility criteria for the various courses.

 

“The response was good, despite the results being undeclared yet,” Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, deputy dean of students’ welfare, said.

 

There were two sessions with a short break from 10 AM to around 1.30 PM. The sessions included one-on-one counselling for around 50 to 60 participants who wanted more clarifications.

The sessions will continue till May 31 at the Conference Centre, North Campus from 10 am to 1 pm.

The University of Delhi conducts ‘Open Days’ every year before the admission process begins. The days are organized for students and parents to get admission related queries addressed by the University staff.
